5 modulesWhat We Do
- 01We size and check the members that hold a build up, running structural design and engineering calculations for steel, timber, reinforced concrete and aluminium structures. Wind loading, footing design and connection capacity are all worked through against the relevant Australian Standards before anything reaches a drawing.
- 02Once the numbers are settled, we turn them into structural drawings and documentation a builder or fabricator can actually work from. That covers layouts, sections, connection details, member schedules and footing plans, prepared for council submission and site use alike.
- 03For fabricated steelwork, we provide fabrication engineering and structural sign-off support confirming components have been made in general accordance with the approved design. We review fabrication documentation, material certificates and welding and bolting records as part of that process.
- 04New homes, renovations, extensions, decks, carports, sheds and granny flats all need engineering behind them, and residential engineering is where a good share of our work sits. We also handle retaining walls, swimming pool structures and inspections on existing homes.
- 05Warehouses, factories, workshops and mezzanine floors ask different questions of a structure than a house does. Our commercial and industrial engineering work covers new industrial buildings, office fit-outs, plant platforms and structural upgrades to existing premises.
